Don’t Forget – Ancaster Fair Trip is Tomorrow

Grades 1-8 will be heading out to the Ancaster Fair tomorrow, Friday, September 23.

This trip is on rain or shine!  It looks like there may be some rain in the forecast so please remember to dress for the weather!  Come prepared for anything – bring a jacket and proper shoes for lots of walking!

Buses will be leaving Major B. at 9:00 am and return before 3:00 pm.

Police Check forms

Police check forms form Brantford Police Services are now available in the office.  If you are unsure whether or not you have a current one on file, please see Mrs. Comeau.

Police checks are valid for two years from date of issue so if you are interested in volunteering or attending any class trips, please be sure to stop by for a form.

Ancaster Fair Trip Announced!

Major Ballachey’s first school trip of the year is planned!  We are heading to Ancaster to participate in education day at the fair.  Students will get an up-close view of different agricultural livestock, plants, and practices.  It’s always been a super fun day!

Buses will leave Major B. on Friday, September 23 at 9:00 am and return to the school around 3:00 pm.  Students from grade 1-8 are invited to attend.

The cost for the trip is $5.00 which will be used toward the cost of the buses.

Permission forms will be coming home soon.  Please return them to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.

Parents/guardians who would like to attend as a chaperone, please remember that police record checks must be up-to-date with the office.
