Today in science we tested several ways to slow down packages before they hit the ground.

Edge Imaging staff will here once again on Friday, November 25th at 9 a.m.to do photo retakes. Students who were not photographed in October, whether or not they wish to purchase photo packages, will be photographed for their Student Record file.
If you do wish to purchase a package, please send the fully completed photo form envelope with the money inside ON THAT DAY. Please do not send it prior to Friday.
Photos are also available to be purchased online through the Edge Imaging website.
Here’s a quick look into what we’re doing in science.
We have already started planning for our school Remembrance Day Assembly, which will be held on Friday, November 11th at 9:00 am. We would like to create a slide show honouring the women and men from the families of our Major Ballachey staff and students. If you have any members of your family who have served in the armed forces, we would love to hear their story and add their photograph to our Remembrance Day slide show. You can forward your stories and photos to Mrs. Hammond by email at: patricia.hammond@granderie.ca or by sending them into the school with your children. Thank you for your help!
In science we’ve been learning about engineering and the design process by testing four different models of aid packages. Here’s what some of that looked like.
Looking forward to meeting parents. Hope you can all be there.

Major Ballachey’s annual Meet the Teacher night is coming up very soon!
